Justice Rao Sworn In As Himachal pradesh High Court CJ

 
The Himachal Pradesh High Court`s 28th Chief Justice, Justice Mamidanna Satya Ratna Sri Ramachandra Rao, has formally assumed his new position. Justice Rao received the oath of office from Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla during a ceremony conducted at the Raj Bhawan. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister, was also present. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena presided over the proceedings of the swearing ceremony and read out the Warrant of Appointment signed by the President of India in both Hindi and English.

  • Justice M S Ramachandra Rao, born on August 7, 1966, in Hyderabad, has an impressive educational background. He completed his BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics from Bhavans New Science College, Osmania, and LL.B from University College of Law, Osmania University Hyderabad in 1989. His father is the former Supreme Court judge, Justice M Jagannadha Rao, who served as the Chairman of the Law Commission of India.
  • Justice Rao began his legal career as an Advocate in September 1989 and later pursued an LL.M. degree from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 1991. During his time at Cambridge, he received prestigious scholarships such as the Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship, the Bank of Credit and Commerce International Scholarship, and the Pegasus Scholarship awarded by the Scholarship Trust, London.
  • In June 2012, Justice M S Ramachandra Rao was appointed as a Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. He later assumed the role of the Chief Justice for the State of Telangana from August 31, 2021. Additionally, he has served as a Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Notably, his grandfather was also a judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh from 1960 to 1961.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Inaugurates National Homoeopathic Convention ‘Homeocon 2023’ in Uttarakhand

 
The National Homoeopathic Convention, or "Homeocon 2023," was recently opened by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at Doon University in Dehradun. The convention`s main goal was to raise awareness of homoeopathy as the second-most widely used form of medicine in the globe, emphasising its relevance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event highlighted the cost-effectiveness of homoeopathic therapies and the state government`s dedication to making Uttarakhand a well-known AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy) region.
 
Homeopathy has gained recognition globally as a widely practiced system of medicine. Its relevance has been evident, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The convention aimed to highlight the effectiveness and holistic approach of homeopathy in providing healthcare solutions to individuals. The event emphasized the significance of integrating homeopathy with conventional medical practices to enhance the overall well-being of patients.
 
The Ministry of AYUSH is a government ministry in India responsible for the development, promotion, and regulation of traditional systems of medicine, including Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. UP`s 5G Technology Training Programme

By introducing a 5G technology training initiative under its Skill Development Mission, the Uttar Pradesh government is making a substantial contribution to improving chances for skill development. Recognising the significance of 5G technology in influencing the telecom industry and the future of the economy, this programme intends to provide young people with the essential skills in emerging and employable technologies.

 

The primary goal of the 5G technology training programme is to make the youth skilled in the latest technologies that will be in high demand in the future job market. The programme acknowledges the vital role that 5G technology will play in transforming the telecom ecosystem, including hardware, software, and services. It is seen as the technology of the future, with applications ranging from Internet of Things (IoT) to machine-to-machine communication and edge computing.

 

Under this programme, the Uttar Pradesh government aims to train and provide jobs to 1,000 candidates. The initiative will be initially launched in five districts, namely Lucknow, Kanpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Moradabad, Agra, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. These districts have been chosen strategically to ensure maximum reach and impact of the training programme.

 

The 5G technology training programme offers three courses to equip candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills. These courses include Telecom Rigger – 5G and Legacy Networks, Technician 5G – Active Network Installation, and Project Engineer – 5G Networks. Each course focuses on different aspects of 5G technology, providing specialized training to cater to diverse job roles and requirements.

 

 

The Uttar Pradesh government estimates that over Rs 80 lakh will be spent on the Telecom Rigger-5G and Legacy Networks course. This substantial investment demonstrates the government’s commitment to providing quality training to candidates. The Technician 5G course, running for 570 hours, will receive a total expenditure of more than one crore, benefiting 360 candidates. The Project Engineer course, involving 660 hours of training, will receive over 90 lakhs in investment, enabling 280 candidates to enhance their skills in 5G technology.

Himachal Cabinet approves monthly incentive of Rs 1,500 for women of Spiti

 
A monthly incentive of Rs 1,500 has been given by the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu, for women living in the Spiti Valley. All eligible women over the age of 18, including Buddhist nuns, will receive the incentive. The Indira Gandhi Mahila Samman Nidhi is the name of this initiative.
 
The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, 3 April 2023. Apart from the incentive, the Cabinet also approved several other measures to improve the financial condition of the state.
 
Direct Benefit Transfer for School Uniforms:
 
The Cabinet has approved a direct benefit transfer of Rs 600 for eligible students in lieu of school uniforms.
